SUICIDE SILENCE To Guest On 'The Moshpit', 'Chaos With Full Metal Jackie'

Vocalist Mitch Lucker of the Riverside, California-based extreme metal quintet SUICIDE SILENCE will be the featured guest tonight (Saturday, June 14) on "The Moshpit" with Mike Z. on 96.7 FM KCAL FM. Tune in at 10 p.m. PT, or stream live at www.kcalfm.com to hear Mitch talk about the band's appearance on the inaugual Rockstar Energy Mayhem tour this summer, SUICIDE SILENCE's place in the deathcore/neo-grind scene and the writing process for the group's new album, among other things.

In other news, SUICIDE SILENCE will be the featured guests on Indie 103.1 FM's specialty metal program "Chaos with Full Metal Jackie" tomorrow (Sunday, June 15) at 10:00 p.m. PST (1:00 a.m. EST Monday morning).

SUICIDE SILENCE just completed a sold-out European trek with PARKWAY DRIVE and BURY YOUR DEAD. The group will make its triumphant return to the U.S. in early July as part of the summer's much-anticipated Rockstar Energy Mayhem tour alongside SLIPKNOT, DISTURBED and MACHINE HEAD, among a slew of others.

Garza and Mark Heylmun (guitars) are featured in Guitar World issue that has Dan Donegan (DISTURBED) on the cover. Garza recently completed a series of instructional videos for YouTube and in the first episode he breaks down how to play "Unanswered" in addition to going over his guitar rig setup.
